The CSC offers sincere condolences to the family of Arnold “Arn” Hoffman.
The faculty and staff of the CSC offer their sincere condolences to the family of Arnold “Arn” Hoffman, who passed away August 4th in Sarasota, FL. A Penn State alumnus, Arn and his wife Bette have been two of Penn State’s most generous benefactors. In particular, the Hoffmans made a $2 million estate commitment to endow the directorship of the Child Study Center and then added a $1 million commitment to endow the center. Eventually, the center will be known as the Arnold S. and Bette G. Hoffman Child Study Center. The CSC will always be grateful for his benevolence.
