Karen Bierman’s REDI program releases new findings

The REDI (Research-based, Developmentally Informed) Program began in 2002. It is an early learning program for preschool children that was developed in partnership with Head Start programs in Pennsylvania and funded by the National Institutes of Health. Karen Bierman, Evan Pugh University Professor, Professor of Psychology and Human Development and Family Studies, and Director of the Child Study Center, is the REDI team principal investigator.

Throught out the years, the REDI program has evolved into three separate phases, each demonstrating positive impacts on preschool children.The program’s most recent findings have been published in JAMA Pediatrics.
