CSC co-sponsors 2023 Penn State Reception at SRCD Biennial Meeting

The Society for Research in Child Development (SRCD) 2023 Biennial Meeting was held March 23-25, 2023, in Salt Lake City, Utah. Since 1934, SRCD has hosted a biennial meeting for its members and the developmental science community where it strives to meet the goal of understanding child development through research while serving as a network and forum for its members and attendees.

During the first evening of SRCD, the CSC co-sponsored the 2023 Penn State Reception. CSC faculty, students, alumni, and colleagues welcomed the great opportunity to get caught up and to network together. Throughout the three-day conference, many CSC faculty and students offered presentations and posters, and some were chairs of their symposia. Dr. Koraly Pérez-Edgar, McCourtney Professor of Child Studies and Professor of Psychology at Penn State and Editor-in-Chief of Developmental Psychology, served as a panelist for an open roundtable conversation titled, “New Directions in Emotional Development: Integrating Context and Culture into Theory and Methods.” The conversation was moderated by Dr. Seth Pollak, Vaughan-Bascom Distinguished Professor, University of Wisconsin-Madison.
