New undergraduate program being offered at the Child Study Center – We Are Connected

We Are Connected is a new undergraduate program at Penn State. We Are Connected is designed to teach students important skills related to handling conflict, understanding and communicating with those different from oneself, and forming relationships that are deep and supportive. An evidence-based curriculum developed by Dr. Joseph Allen at the University of Virginia, this program provides the opportunity for a diverse group of undergraduate students to gather and engage in activities and discussions focused on connections. In association with this program, a new class, Special Topics, The Connection Project: Leadership and Communication, will be offered to undergraduate students interested in gaining hands-on training in leadership, facilitation, and group dynamics.
