Dr. Erum Nadeem presented at the Seventh Annual Central PA Workshop on Evidence-Based Mental Health Services

The Seventh Annual Central PA Workshop on Evidence-Based Mental Health Services, presented by the CSC, Psychological Clinic, and State College Area School District, was held May 12, 2021. Dr. Erum Nadeem, associate professor in the Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology at Rutgers University, presented the workshop titled, “Cognitive Behavioral Intervention for Trauma in Schools (CBITS).” Dr. Nadeem is a certified national trainer and expert in the CBITS program. The workshop described this evidence-based intervention for middle and high school students who are exposed to stressful and traumatic events and included ten skill-building small group sessions.
