Abstract:

Lion Tracks is a research program that examines how daily physical activity influences brain health, cognition, and well-being in mothers and children. Using wearable devices, ecological momentary assessment (EMA), cognitive testing, and physiological measures, Lion Tracks captures real-world patterns of movement, behavior, and health to better understand how families can build lifelong habits that support both brain and cardiovascular health. Findings will inform the development of scalable, evidence-based interventions that promote healthy behaviors across generations.
