Abstract:
Lion Hearts is a community-based, family-centered physical activity program designed to help mothers and young children (ages 3–6) build lifelong healthy habits together. Delivered through local CrossFit affiliates, the 8-week program combines coach-led functional fitness with evidence-based behavior change strategies to increase physical activity, improve cardiovascular health, and strengthen confidence in movement. By engaging mothers and children together, Lion Hearts aims to reduce cardiovascular disease risk while fostering a culture of health that can be sustained across generations.
