Biography:
Miglena Ivanova is a doctoral student under the mentorship of Dr. Rina Eiden. Originally from Bulgaria, she received her B.S. degrees in Psychology and Psychiatric Rehabilitation from Montana State University, graduating as an Honors Scholar and the 2019 University Golden Merit Award Recipient. Her research interests focus on the better understanding of the early biological and familial factors precipitating mental illness. Her long-term goal is to translate her research into developing more individualized evidence-based prevention techniques and early interventions. As the CSC Graduate Research Assistant, Miglena prepares for and takes notes during CSC faculty meetings, assists with the Speaker Series, maintains CSC-related databases, and writes articles for the CSC website.
