Congratulations to Richard Lippin on receiving a 2017 Alumni Fellow Award

The Child Study Center congratulates Richard ‘Dick’ Lippin on his receipt of a 2017 Alumni Fellow Award. Mr. Lippin is a 1968 graduate of the College of the Liberal Arts. He is the founder, chairman, and chief executive of The Lippin Group, an entertainment/media public relations and marketing firm with offices in Los Angeles, New York, and London. The Lippin Group advises some of the most prestigious entertainment/media companies, associations, and executives in the United States and around the world.

The lifelong title of Alumni Fellow is the highest award given by the Penn State Alumni Association. It is awarded to select alumni who, as leaders in their professional fields, are nominated by an academic college and accept an invitation from the President of the University to return to campus to share their expertise with students, faculty, and administrators.  Previously, Lippin was honored with the Service to Society Award by the Liberal Arts Alumni Society Board for his volunteer leadership of community and philanthropic organizations.

Since 2013, Dick has been providing support to the Child Study Center via The Lippin Family Fund. This fund supports the design and evaluation of innovative programming to promote the development of social and emotional management skills and moral and ethical behavior in children ages 3-7.

We are truly grateful for his continuing support and would like to congratulate him on this well-deserved honor.
